AEG induction hobs can lock for several reasons. It could be due to a system malfunction or a problem with the power or circuit. How Do I Turn The Lock Off On My AEG Hob?

  1. Turn the power button on. Each hob will show the “L” symbol next to it.
  2. Press on each hob symbol. Do all four starting from left to right.
  3. Press the “Lock” button.
  4. Immediately press the main switch.
  5. Press and hold down on the “lock” button for a few seconds. All of the hobs should then turn back on and be unlocked.

How To Deactivate The Childproof Lock On An AEG Hob

You can deactivate the childproof lock very easily, whether it was turned on by accident or intentionally. The childproof lock ensures that each cooking zone doesn’t turn on when touching the hob. All of the cooking zones operate individually, so it is important that you turn all of them off.
